I'm having trouble finding a venue for my wedding ceremony next year.Â We don't belong to any church, and the wedding is in October so I don't really want to plan to have it outdoors.There's a home footbal game that day, so the Alumni Chapel isÂ not available.Â I checked out Bridge Street Wedding Chapel in Grand Ledge, but it seems a little pricey for what you get.Â Does anyone have any ideas of where to have a ceremony?Â The reception is going to be in St. Johns, but we live in Lansing, so I want to have it somewhere between here and there...Please help!

I don't really know the Lansing area very well so I don't know if the location would work but there is the Grand Ledge Opera House.Â I have never been there but know of people who have gotten married there and heard it is very nice.Â

I have found in my search for a ceremony site Seven Islands Meeting and Reception Hall in Grand Ledge thier website is www.halltorent.com it seems to be a nice venue from the pictures i've seen on thier website.

It sounds like the OP doesn't need a reception venue, just a ceremony venue, and I don't think either Grand Ledge Opera House or Seven Islands rent just their ceremony site, you would have to rent the whole hall
